Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and performance-driven Video Editor & Videographer who has worked with D2C brands and understands how videos drive sales, engagement, and conversions. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with shooting, editing, AI-powered video tools, and have a strong understanding of Meta ads, market trends, and customer behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos for social media, website, and ad campaigns
  • Create short-form performance videos for Meta (Instagram & Facebook ads)
  • Use AI generative tools to enhance video creation (AI avatars, voiceovers, captions, background removal, creatives, automation, etc.)
  • Ideate content hooks, scripts, and angles aligned with market trends and target customers
  • Edit videos optimized for conversions, retention, and scroll-stopping performance
  • Collaborate with marketing and growth teams to execute ad creatives
  • Understand ad metrics and optimize creatives based on performance insights
  • Maintain brand consistency across all video content

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in video editing & videography for D2C / e-commerce brands
  • Freelancing, agency, or in-house experience is acceptable
  • Hands-on experience with shooting using camera and smartphone setups
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of AI generative video tools (Runway, Pika, HeyGen, Midjourney, ChatGPT, etc.)
  • Knowledge of lighting, framing, composition, and sound
  • Understanding of Meta ads creatives, audience psychology, and market trends

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic understanding of ad funnels, ROAS, CTR, and creative testing
  • Experience working with UGC-style and influencer content
  • Ability to quickly adapt content based on performance feedback
