Varicash is a Bangalore-based fintech startup founded in 2025 that is building a Loan Against Mutual Funds platform along with a broader toolkit for mutual fund distributors (MFDs) to make investing, credit access, and advisor workflows more effective, efficient, and compliant. The platform enables users to unlock liquidity without disrupting their long-term investments by offering seamless, digital access to credit against mutual funds. With a product-first approach, Varicash works closely with financial institutions, MFDs, and wealth advisors to simplify processes, improve transparency, and help users meet short-term financial needs while staying invested for long-term wealth creation.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to create engaging, high-quality video content across digital platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics, and can translate ideas into compelling video formats that align with brand goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished videos for marketing, social media, product, and internal use
• Add motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, and sound design where required
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to understand creative direction
• Optimize videos for different platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and web
• Maintain consistency in branding, tone, and visual style across all content
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Stay updated with latest editing trends, formats, and tools

Requirements

• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition
• Experience with motion graphics and basic animation is a plus
• Familiarity with social media content formats and trends
• Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
• Strong attention to detail

Good to Have

• Experience working with startup or digital-first brands
• Basic knowledge of color grading and sound mixing
• Understanding of branding and marketing communication
• Ability to shoot basic footage if required
