About the Role
FLAME University is seeking skilled and creative Video Editing & Production Specialists with strong expertise in video production, post-production, and multimedia content creation. The ideal candidates will support academic and institutional initiatives by producing high-quality educational videos, instructional content, podcasts, and multimedia materials. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end video production processes, including filming, lighting, audio setup, and studio management
- Edit and produce high-quality video content such as instructional materials, lectures, podcasts, live recordings, and other educational media
- Use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve to create engaging and impactful visual content
- Collaborate closely with faculty, academic teams, and internal stakeholders to develop content that aligns with learning objectives
- Ensure accessibility standards are met, including adding captions and maintaining inclusive content formats
- Manage production timelines and ensure timely delivery of all video projects
- Maintain and manage video production equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and upkeep
- Innovate and implement new techniques to enhance the quality, engagement, and effectiveness of educational content
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in video editing and production, preferably within education, eLearning, or academic content creation
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve
- Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing prior work in education, training, or eLearning environments
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines
Desirable Qualifications
- Familiarity with live streaming technologies and podcast production workflows
- Prior experience working in an academic or university setting
- Knowledge of educational content standards, instructional design needs, or digital learning environments
