About This Role:
We are looking for a creative, hands-on, and story-driven Video Designer who can add firepower to the marketing function at Klenty. If you are someone who lives and breathes video – who gets excited about turning a raw idea into a scroll-stopping video, a sharp product demo, or a punchy brand film — and you are already experimenting with the latest AI video tools to push what's possible, then you will be a perfect fit for this role.
As a Video Designer, you will own the visual storytelling that brings our product and our brand to life across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and our website.
We consider video marketing to be one of our sharpest weapons, and you will have a direct hand in shaping how the world sees Klenty.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, design, and edit video content across formats — short-form vidoes, product explainers, customer story videos, founder/POV videos, ads, event recap films, and internal enablement content
- Translate briefs from product marketing, content, and growth teams into compelling visual narratives — owning the journey from storyboard to final cut
- Use AI video tools (Runway, Higgsfield, Pika, Sora, Kling, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, Descript, and similar) to dramatically increase the speed, volume, and creative range of what we ship.
- Design motion graphics, animated infographics, kinetic typography, and product UI animations that make complex sales concepts feel simple and exciting
- Build and maintain a visual style system for video — intros, outros, lower thirds, transitions, thumbnails, so every piece of Klenty video content feels distinctly Klenty
- Partner closely with the product marketing, content, brand, and demand generation teams to plan a steady pipeline of video content tied to launches and campaigns.
- Stay on top of the rapidly evolving AI video landscape — test new tools weekly, share learnings with the team, and continuously raise the bar on what we can produce in-house
Skills required:
- Should have at least 1 year of experience as a Video Editor, Motion graphic Designer, or Video Designer, preferably in a B2B SaaS, agency, or content-led environment
- Strong portfolio that demonstrates range — from clean product explainers to creative social media videos to thoughtful long-form storytelling
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
- Hands-on experience with the latest AI video and creative tools — Runway, Higgsfield, Pika, Sora, Kling, Luma Dream Machine, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, Descript, Midjourney, and the willingness to learn whatever drops next month. You should already be using these tools in your day-to-day workflow, not just have heard of them
- A strong grasp of design fundamentals — typography, layout, color, pacing, composition, and sound design
- Excellent eye for visual storytelling: you understand how to open a video, build tension, and land an emotional or intellectual payoff in 30 seconds or 3 minutes
- Comfortable working from a rough brief — you can take an idea, propose a creative direction, and run with it without needing every frame spelled out
- Works autonomously in a startup environment and collaborates well with marketers, designers, and founders to ship work that hits the bar
- Is adaptable, highly organized, and adheres to strict time deadlines — you can juggle multiple projects across launches, campaigns, and always-on content without dropping balls
- Has a keen interest in tech, AI, and the latest developments in the creative tooling world
- A bachelor's degree (in design, film, communication, or a related field is a plus, but a great portfolio matters more)
Benefits:
- Competitive salary in a fast-growing start-up
- We serve lunch and dinner every weekday, plus a variety of snack foods and a fully stocked kitchen
- Comprehensive health insurance for you and your dependents
- MacBooks are our standard, but we are happy to get you whatever equipment helps you get your job done
- A generous tools & subscriptions budget so you always have access to the best AI video and creative software in the market
