Job Summary:
You're responsible for turning ideas into scroll-stopping videos. Not just editing storytelling, pacing, hooks, and retention. If your videos don't hold attention, this role isn't for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form videos (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, LinkedIn, ads).
- Convert raw ideas, scripts, or briefs into high-engagement video content.
- Edit videos with strong hooks in the first 3 secondsno boring intros.
- Add subtitles, motion graphics, sound effects, and basic animations.
- Optimize videos for different platforms (aspect ratios, lengths, formats).
- Collaborate with marketing/content teams to align videos with brand goals.
- Track performance and improve content based on what actually works, not gut feeling.
- Manage multiple projects with tight deadlinesno hand-holding.
Requirements & Skills:
- Strong command of tools like Premiere Pro / Final Cut / After Effects / CapCut.
- Clear understanding of social media algorithms and viewer psychology.
- Solid sense of storytelling, timing, and visual flow.
- Ability to take feedback without ego and execute fast.
- Basic knowledge of lighting, framing, and audio (even if you're not filming).
