Job Title: Vice Principal (Mathematics Lead)

Location: Pallavi Model School, Bowenpally, Secunderabad

Reports To: Principal / School Director

Job Summary

The Vice Principal will support the Principal in the overall administration and academic leadership of the school, with a primary responsibility of teaching Mathematics and driving excellence in numeracy across all grades. The role combines leadership duties with active classroom teaching to ensure high academic standards.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

* Lead and oversee the Mathematics curriculum across grades.

* Ensure effective lesson planning, delivery, and assessment practices.

* Drive initiatives to improve student performance in Mathematics.

* Support English faculty to maintain overall academic balance.

Teaching Responsibilities

* Teach Mathematics classes as per the assigned timetable.

* Develop engaging lesson plans and use innovative teaching methodologies.

* Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.

* Prepare students for board examinations and competitive assessments.

Staff Management

* Supervise and mentor Mathematics faculty.

* Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback for improvement.

* Organize training sessions and professional development programs.

Student Development

* Identify learning gaps and implement intervention strategies.

* Promote discipline, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

* Guide students academically and support their overall development.

Administrative Duties

* Assist the Principal in daily school operations.

* Coordinate examinations, timetables, and academic planning.

* Ensure compliance with school policies and board regulations.

Parent & Community Engagement

* Communicate with parents regarding student progress.

* Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.

Qualifications & Requirements

* Master's Degree in *Mathematics* (B.Ed./M.Ed. preferred).

* Minimum *510 years of teaching experience in Mathematics*.

* At least *35 years of experience in a leadership/administrative role*.

* Strong subject expertise in Mathematics across secondary/senior secondary levels.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
