ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The key responsibilities of the Vice Principal will be:
• Ensuring timely roll-out of curriculum, syllabus completion and student work correction for Pre-
Primary up to Grade 12
• Managing day-to-day implementation of curriculum and also ensuring quality in curriculum delivery.
• Establishing quality standards & practices in domains of schooling of teaching & learning environment.
• Ensuring the coordinators give regular feedback to the teaching staff regarding correction and
curriculum- related issues.
• Investing in recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff and ensuring professional
development and training of all teachers
• Developing and mentoring Coordinators through the feedback mechanism and ensuring their
retention and engagement
• Developing potential successors by identifying, developing and retaining top talent
• Managing retention and engagement of all staff - Pre-Primary to Grade 12
• Creating a cooperative school-parent relationship and facilitating the participation of parents
related to the education of their children.
• Ensuring that the policy of inclusion is adopted appropriately and COWB functions effectively
• Collaborating with various departments and forwarding any issues or suggestions to the Principal.
• Attending and participating in meetings with staff, parents, and Head Office personnel
• Planning and organizing school events and field trips as well as assisting various committees.
• Establishing rapport and maintaining relationships with parents, staff, and students
• Helping with the development of school processes and systems on a regular basis
DESCRIPTION
• Updating student and school records, analyzing Argus usage and student performance data,
ensuring remedial teaching and addressing academic concerns raised by students, staff, and
parents
• Remaining active and ensuring student safety and hygiene at School, on field trips and during
school functions
• Prevention and control of sexual or any other harassment within the school.
• Ensure the health and safety of the children in the school.
• Undertake other duties as directed by the Principal.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
• A Master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university
• A B.Ed. degree from a recognized university
• Extensive teaching and administration experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent research and report writing abilities.
• Strong understanding of academics and pedagogy
• Strong written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills.
• The ability to follow instructions but also come up with original ideas.
• Proficiency in the usage of relevant IT tools/platforms ZOHO, Skolaro
• Knowledge of administration and management.
• A high degree of professionalism.
