Position Overview
Amatir invites applications for the position of
Vice Principal-cum-Administrator, a pivotal leadership role that blends academic coordination, institutional management, and community leadership.
Reporting to the Principal, this role ensures that Amatir's educational vision is translated seamlessly into daily practice aligning academics, operations, discipline, and culture within the Gurukul's living ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the academic plan, timetables, and annual school calendar in consultation with Learning Mentors and the Principal.
- Supervise daily operations across academic and administrative departments including academics, hostel, logistics, transport, and facility management.
- Oversee examinations, assessments, academic reporting, and parent communication.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE and institutional policies, maintaining records, audits, and ERP-based reporting systems.
- Lead recruitment, induction, and professional development initiatives for staff.
- Strengthen communication channels between teachers, mentors, and administration to ensure cohesive execution of academic and co-curricular programs.
- Participate actively in the residential life of the Gurukul guiding students, attending events, and modelling discipline, empathy, and institutional values.
- Serve as the Principal's second-in-command, representing the school in internal meetings, external collaborations, and strategic reviews.

Candidate Profile
- Postgraduate degree in Education or related field; B.Ed./M.Ed. mandatory
- Minimum 10 years of teaching experience and 35 years in academic/administrative leadership
- Experience in residential or boarding schools preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills
- Tech-savvy and familiar with ERP systems
