We're hiring a Vice President of Software Engineering – SaaS Platform| Noida, India
Are you ready to lead the engineering function of a global SaaS platform that impacts millions across industries.
This is a pivotal leadership role where you will oversee the entire platform engineering strategy and execution — from building and scaling high-performing teams to driving the technical vision, culture, and delivery of a world-class SaaS product.
As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will collaborate with executives across product, design, sales, customer success, and marketing to define and deliver transformative solutions on a global scale.
What You'll Do
- Define and execute the platform engineering strategy aligned to the company's product and business goals
- Lead and guide the Platform Engineering organization in executing global R&D roadmap priorities.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams of 100+ engineers while fostering innovation and collaboration
- Collaborate closely with product management to translate product vision into actionable roadmaps.
- Ensure delivery of a reliable, scalable SaaS platform with optimal uptime, performance, and security
- Drive engineering excellence through Agile ways of working, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making
- Drive initiatives for product transformation, including migrating and building new products on the platform.
- Ensure adherence to technology standards and procedures as established by Engineering leadership.
- Deliver engineering excellence in execution, technical vision, and direction, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.
- Advocate for the continued adoption of Agile methodologies, including daily stand-ups, JIRA management, and sprint planning.
- Regularly communicate with stakeholders regarding the status of the platform engineering team, highlighting achievements and identifying areas requiring additional support.
What You Bring
- 20+ years of overall experience, including 15+ years in SaaS engineering and 10+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in building and scaling enterprise-grade SaaS platforms
- Strong technical grounding in applications, APIs, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers, serverless, IaC, and accessibility best practices
- Expertise in technologies Java, .NET, RedHat, AWS, ETL tools, React/front-end technologies, Github Copilot, Jira
- A proven track record of managing and growing large engineering teams (100+ people)
- A leadership style that blends pragmatic decision-making, collaboration, and results-orientation
