Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of independent, risk-based technology audits across Maybank Singapore's banking, insurance, securities and asset management entities.
- Working closely with the Singapore Technology Audit Head, you will oversee audit planning, execution, reporting and issue validation while providing assurance over technology, cybersecurity, cloud, application development, data and emerging AI risks.
- You will assess technology risks from an enterprise perspective, develop risk-based audit strategies, and provide technical leadership to audit teams. The role also supports advisory reviews of key technology initiatives, covering areas such as cybersecurity, operational resilience, access controls, data protection and technology transformation programmes.
- As a senior member of the team, you will engage regularly with Technology, Risk, Compliance, regulators, external auditors and senior management, providing independent challenge and practical insights to strengthen the control environment.
- You will also drive the adoption of data analytics, automation and AI-enabled auditing techniques while developing the team's specialist capabilities and succession pipeline.
- This role is ideal for an experienced technology audit or technology risk professional with strong expertise across cyber security, infrastructure and cloud, application development, enterprise technology governance, data and AI risks, coupled with the ability to lead teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships in a dynamic regulatory environment.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- CIA, CISA, CISSP, CRISC, AAIA or an equivalent professional certification is preferred.
- Substantial Technology Audit, technology risk or cybersecurity assurance experience within financial services, including experience in leading audit engagements and supervising staff.
- Broad technical knowledge across Cyber Security, Infrastructure and Cloud, Application and Software Development, and Enterprise Technology Processes, with strong technical depth in at least one domain.
- Experience coordinating audits across multiple legal entities, regulated businesses or operating models is preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking, enterprise risk assessment, professional judgement and decision-making skills.
- Supervisory and people-management experience, including resource allocation, workload management, coaching, talent development and team building.
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to challenge management constructively and engage effectively with senior management, Boards, committees and regulators.
- Knowledge of data analytics, automation, AI-enabled audit methods and AI-related technology risks.
