Role Overview

We are hiring a high-performing Vice President Sales / Business Development (Retail Fundraising) to lead a team of Assistant Vice Presidents (AVPs) and oversee the complete execution of retail capital mobilization.

You will report to the Senior Vice President Retail Fundraising, and play a critical role in scaling Altellect's Retail Investor base across multiple cities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of AVPs and frontline Retail Fundraising executives.
  • Drive retail capital mobilization through strong relationships with HNIs and affluent investors.
  • Own and deliver monthly and quarterly capital acquisition targets.
  • Support the SVP Retail Fundraising in building a strong national Retail Investor base.
  • Conduct high-quality investor meetings, presentations, and financial discussions.
  • Strengthen sales processes, CRM discipline, lead management, and follow-up mechanisms.
  • Identify new investor segments and opportunities for retail fundraising expansion.
  • Provide on-field coaching, performance monitoring, and weekly reviews for AVPs.
  • Ensure alignment with marketing and inside-sales teams for pipeline generation and nurturing.
  • Maintain high ethical standards, investor transparency, and a strong relationship-management culture.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 714 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, fundraising, real estate capital sales, premium financial products, or luxury products / services sales.
  • Proven leadership experience managing 515 member Sales teams.
  • Strong HNI network and experience handling large retail investors.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, high-expectation, founder-led environment.
  • Strong planning, team management, and execution skills.
  • High ownership mindset and hunger for rapid career growth
