Vice President - Revenue Management (Strategic Reporting)
Position Description:
The J.P. Morgan Payments Pricing and Revenue management team is responsible for analysis used to drive strategic pricing decisions and the development of tools used to execute or augment pricing activity in the business. With broad scope covering statistical analysis and recommendation-based problem solving, as well as design, development, and maintenance of pricing tools used by our sales teams, the Manager will have a dynamic role in a project-based environment. Specific product scope will include J.P. Morgan Treasury Services, Merchant Services, and Commercial Card.
Job Summary :
The candidate will be a part of the revenue management strategic reporting group within Corporate Investment Bank (CIB).
Job responsibilities
- Own product strategy and delivery for Revenue Management dashboard suite (e.g., Global Billing dashboard, International dashboards, and Chase Connect dashboards which cover wholesale domestic and international billing data), defining roadmap, priorities, and success metrics in partnership with stakeholders.
- Lead end-to-end dashboard builds and enhancements, translating business requirements into user stories/acceptance criteria, coordinating across engineering/data teams, and driving releases from discovery through UAT and production rollout.
- Manage production stability and support, triaging and resolving defects/issues, overseeing bug backlog and release communications, and ensuring timely remediation with clear stakeholder updates.
- Run operating cadence and stakeholder governance, including monthly progress/status forums to track delivery, surface risks/dependencies, and align decisions across product, sales, and operations partners.
- Drive enablement and adoption, delivering trainings, hosting office hours, and creating user guidance to onboard new joiners and help product managers and sales teams effectively use the dashboards.
- Lead Quarterly Business Review program management, coordinating data pulls and analysis, building executive-ready materials, facilitating QBR sessions, and managing follow-ups/actions across stakeholder groups.
- Manage the work and priorities with the team in an independent manner with good work ethics.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 8+ years in product, Treasury Services, finance or consulting roles
- Strong background in querying large datasets, financial Models and experience in deep diving to determine root cause and propose solutions
- Capability to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentation and recommendations.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and self-manage deadlines and deliverables, clearly articulating progress and milestones
- Ability to research issues/problems and provide a solution-based approach
- Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail and spotting trends
- Analytical mind-set, structure approach, attention to detail and accuracy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders: firm-wide, functional Finance and lines of business teams to ensure the timely, accurate and effective delivery of recurring and ad-hoc initiatives
- Strong financial modelling experience, including financial statement analysis, business case development, and comfort with statistical techniques
- Detail-oriented approach to problem-solving able to break down and structure complex problems, then develop data-driven solutions to guide management decision-making
- Executive presence, including the ability to communicate findings from data analysis in a concise manner to senior stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills, including comfort working with cross-functional stakeholders of all levels to achieve team goals based on guidance provided
- Strong project and process management skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Finance/Business - MBA preferred or equivalent
- Strong quantitative, analytical, technical and problem solving skills
- Proven skills in identifying and resolving control issues that may impact financial results
- Good leadership & motivational skills
- Strong Microsoft skills (advanced Excel and PowerPoint preferred), and SharePoint
- Detail oriented with the ability to work well under pressure, handling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
- Team oriented, inquisitive, critical thinker who anticipates questions from internal clients and management
- Desire to learn quickly, be flexible and think strategically
- Prior experience in SQL, Alteryx, QlikView, Tableau, complex excel formulas, datasets within Excel, pivot tables and/or BI tools preferred
- Good knowledge of Payments business products is a plus.
- Previous experience with analysis/strategy with fact based writing skills along with storytelling and presentation skills in a concise and confident manner
