We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Production Services Application Support to join our Foundational Frameworks team. This role is located in Chennai
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Taking ownership of the Power BI Platform, its performance and all administration related activities.
- Remediating vulnerabilities that are detected as per organizational scan policies without compromising of the performance and user experience.
- Staying up to date on industry standards and charting out ideas to be presented to Leadership. Once approved by Leadership, converting ideas into actionable plans and implementing them to arrive at expected results.
- Monitor Power BI Service updates, new features, and apply relevant changes.
- Managing Power BI Premium or Fabric capacities, including capacity assignment and scaling.
- Defining & Enforcing Power BI Governance Policies that align with best practices.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Extensive Experience in handling Power BI Platform issues and administering the platform.
- Extensive Experience in troubleshooting complex Power BI Platform Issues and implementing corrective actions to permanently remediate issues.
- We are expecting someone who can single handedly handle the entire Power BI Platform, remediate risk and do timely updates.
- Experience in implementing internal and external monitoring solutions for Power BI Platform.
