THE ROLE:
Following a recent merger, FGE and NexantECA are expanding our APAC Consulting team and are seeking a Vice President, or Principal Consultant to drive business growth in the LNG and Natural Gas space.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients and prospects to develop strong relationships, acquire new business, and supervise project deliverables
- Lead business development/sales in the LNG and Gas markets by developing relationships with client decision makers, identifying leads, and contributing to the development of proposals that turn into client engagements
- Supervise client engagements and maintain quality control, budget, and schedule of deliverables
- Help to grow the APAC Consulting business unit, supporting the strategy and priorities defined by the regional SVP and leadership team
Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of demonstrable high-profile experience within the Gas / LNG sector and/or with a top industry consultancy
- Very strong revenue generation capability
- Proven ability in origination, including an extensive book of deep client relationships
- Proven ability in business development uncovering significant new leads
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior industry executives in significant decision making
- Positive and flexible attitude, particularly to work on new initiatives
- Diplomatic in meeting and working with people, good cultural awareness
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English (other languages would be a positive)
- Flexible and willing to work extra hours as necessary to accommodate busy work loads
- Understanding and commitment to equal opportunities and willingness to travel
- Expertise in one or more of strategy (including feasibility studies and policy advice), M&A (commercial and/or technical due diligence) and project finance (lenders market and lenders technical adviser) work
