Very Urgent Mandate for a well reputed Private Wealth Management Organization for Mumbai location. (Local candidates preferred)

S/VP-Wealth Management (Individual role)

Only candidates from Banks, NBFC Or Wealth Management companies, having wealth products (MF, AIF, PMS, etc) selling experience are welcome.

Role Overview

The Senior Vice President Private Wealth Management will be responsible for driving the wealth business in the region by managing key HNI/UHNI client relationships, acquiring new high-value clients. The role is a combination of strategic leadership and active business generation ideal for a hands-on leader who leads from the front.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Acquisition

Acquire and manage HNI/UHNI clients and family offices, ensuring strong wallet share and long-term relationship curation.

Proactively generate leads through networking, existing client referrals, market intelligence, and partnerships with internal teams (Loans, Investment Banking, Corporate Relations, etc.).

Responsible for achieving revenue and AUM targets for wealth management products (mutual funds, PMS, AIFs, bonds, structured products, deposits).

Client Relationship Management

Act as a trusted financial advisor to clients, providing customized investment solutions basis risk profile, market trends, and asset allocation strategies.

Conduct regular portfolio reviews, performance updates, and market insights.

Ensure compliance, documentation accuracy, and adherence to internal and regulatory guidelines (RBI, SEBI, AMFI).

Drive a performance-oriented culture based on high-quality client advisory.

Strategic Contribution

Develop and execute regional wealth business strategy and growth roadmap.

Strengthen cross-selling by leveraging NBFC ecosystem (Loan against Securities, Structured Credit, Corporate Finance).

Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to senior management.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of investment and wealth management products (MF, PMS, AIF, Bonds, Structured Products, Insurance).

Ability to handle complex investment needs of HNI/UHNI clients.

Excellent networking, negotiation, and closure ability.

Leadership with hands-on approach lead by example mindset.

Education & Experience

MBA/PGDM in Finance/Wealth Management or relevant qualification.

Minimum 1015+ years of experience in Private Banking / Wealth Management with consistent track record of HNI/UHNI acquisition.

NISM certifications as per regulatory requirement.
