Job Description

Key Result Areas

  • Responsible for delivering the top-line and bottom-line business plan numbers for respective financial years.
  • Develop the sales and distribution roadmap to deliver the company's mission of becoming a profitable $ 500 Cores business by FY30.
  • Align the Sales function and Marketing activities to deliver the Business Plan.
  • Develop new product lines/categories closely related to the current business of Kitchenware and Cookware.
  • Responsible for directing the Organisation's Sales Strategy and managing responsibilities essential for improving sales force effectiveness and productivity.
  • Overall accountability for leading the sales growth and expansion, as outlined in the rolling business plans and the Organisation's ambitions.
  • Play a strategic role in defining the organisation's Trade Marketing Strategy and Customer & Consumer Loyalty Programmes.

Detailed Role

  • Design, implement and manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
  • Provide leadership to the sales organization and counsel to the Leadership Group.
  • Strategize product innovation and diversification as per business needs and plans.
  • Responsible for equitable target assignment for different teams/geographies.
  • Partner with senior sales leadership group to identify opportunities for sales process improvement.
  • Prioritize investments in enabling technologies in support of sales organization productivity.
  • Lead development of new reporting tools and matrices as needed.
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs.
  • Oversee the delivery of field and HQ training to sales teams.
  • Align team with the company's vision, mission & culture at all times.

Experience and Background

  • Preferably a full-time MBA from a prestigious Institute.
  • Must possess and demonstrate outstanding leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and react quickly to trends and changes in performance.
  • Must possess expertise in developing selling strategies & methodologies and strategic planning & execution.
  • Excellent Man Management skills.
  • Strategic thought leader.
  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management Skills.
  • Candidate should be from product sales industry and should be open to working 6 days a week.
