Key Result Areas
- Responsible for delivering the top-line and bottom-line business plan numbers for respective financial years.
- Develop the sales and distribution roadmap to deliver the company's mission of becoming a profitable $ 500 Cores business by FY30.
- Align the Sales function and Marketing activities to deliver the Business Plan.
- Develop new product lines/categories closely related to the current business of Kitchenware and Cookware.
- Responsible for directing the Organisation's Sales Strategy and managing responsibilities essential for improving sales force effectiveness and productivity.
- Overall accountability for leading the sales growth and expansion, as outlined in the rolling business plans and the Organisation's ambitions.
- Play a strategic role in defining the organisation's Trade Marketing Strategy and Customer & Consumer Loyalty Programmes.
Detailed Role
- Design, implement and manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
- Provide leadership to the sales organization and counsel to the Leadership Group.
- Strategize product innovation and diversification as per business needs and plans.
- Responsible for equitable target assignment for different teams/geographies.
- Partner with senior sales leadership group to identify opportunities for sales process improvement.
- Prioritize investments in enabling technologies in support of sales organization productivity.
- Lead development of new reporting tools and matrices as needed.
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
- Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs.
- Oversee the delivery of field and HQ training to sales teams.
- Align team with the company's vision, mission & culture at all times.
Experience and Background
- Preferably a full-time MBA from a prestigious Institute.
- Must possess and demonstrate outstanding leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to anticipate and react quickly to trends and changes in performance.
- Must possess expertise in developing selling strategies & methodologies and strategic planning & execution.
