Job Description

Company Profile

Customer Capital is a B2B2C commerce and loyalty technology company that builds and operates large-scale, white-labeled digital platforms for leading banks and enterprises (such as IDFC First Bank, HDFC Bank, American Express, Mahindra Holidays, BOBCard, Ethiopian Airlines to name a few).

Our platforms power travel, shopping, gift cards, and other commerce verticals, integrated with loyalty earn-and-burn ecosystems. Instead of being a traditional services vendor, we operate as a product-led platform partner — providing end-to-end commerce infrastructure, loyalty engines, partner integrations, and optimization layers that help our clients drive customer engagement, transaction growth, and measurable retained revenue. Our model combines deep domain expertise in loyalty and commerce with strong product, technology, and data capabilities.

We are a organisation which values high-ownership, clarity of thinking, healthy debate, and execution discipline. Teams are encouraged to challenge assumptions, take accountability for outcomes, and collaborate across functions to solve real business problems — not just deliver outputs.

The work environment is fast-paced and performance-oriented, with strong emphasis on learning, commercial awareness, and customer impact. People who thrive at Customer Capital are those who are comfortable with responsibility, open to feedback, and motivated to build scalable platforms and products that serve millions of end customers through our enterprise partners.

Job title — Vice President Product

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Vice President – Product to lead product strategy, roadmap, and execution across Customer Capital's B2B2C commerce and loyalty platforms (Travel, Shopping, Gift cards and Loyalty).

The role requires end-to-end ownership of product vision, commercial impact, prioritisation discipline, and stakeholder management across multiple enterprise bank clients. The candidate must be able to operate across strategy and execution — defining long-term direction while ensuring strong sprint-level delivery.

The VP Product will ensure that product decisions directly translate into revenue growth, margin protection, client value delivery, and superior end-customer experience.

2. Roadmap Governance & Prioritisation

  • Own portfolio-level prioritisation across multiple verticals and clients.
  • Ensure structured trade-off decisions when new client demands arise.
  • Maintain clarity between core platform enhancements and client-specific customisation.

3. Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Work closely with Sales, Client Servicing, Engineering, Delivery, and Finance.
  • Represent product strategy in enterprise client discussions and senior management meetings
  • Ensure client commitments are translated into achievable product deliverables.

4. Product Execution Oversight

  • Oversee PRDs and user stories, requirement clarity, and backlog hygiene.
  • Ensure sprint planning aligns with business priorities.
  • Track product KPIs and drive measurable impact post-release.

5. UI/UX Oversight & Experience Quality

  • Provide strategic direction to UI/UX teams across all platforms.
  • Ensure experience consistency across web, mobile web, and app-based journeys.
  • Drive UX improvements that enhance:

  • Points value perception
  • Checkout completion
  • Repeat usage
  • Ensure design decisions are supported by user behaviour data.

  • Provide oversight to:
  • Product Managers
  • Associate PMs
  • UI/UX Designers
  • Establish structured review cadences (weekly, fortnightly, quarterly).
  • Drive accountability, ownership, and outcome-driven culture.
  • Ensure clarity of KRAs, KPIs, and performance measurement across product team members.

Desired Outcomes

  1. Clear linkage between product roadmap and revenue/margin growth.
  2. Improved conversion, repeat usage, GMV and retained revenue across platforms.
  3. Clear prioritisation discipline and governance across product, design, and execution layers.
  4. Strong UX consistency across all verticals and clients.
  5. Reduced roadmap fragmentation and improved platform scalability.
  6. High-performing, commercially aware product and UI UX teams.

Competencies

Strong analytical orientation with ability to define KPIs and measure feature impact.
