The role
We're looking for a VP to join the venture investing team dedicated to AI & deep tech. This is a high-impact role: where one will source and evaluate opportunities, lead diligence, support portfolio companies, and help shape investment strategy and thesis across ML, AI infrastructure, and adjacent deep-tech domains.
Key responsibilities
- Source and cultivate high-quality deal flow across AI/deep-tech founder and investor networks
- Lead diligence and investment memos; present and influence internal investment decisions
- Structure and negotiate deal terms with founders and co-investors
- Partner with portfolio companies on product-market, GTM, talent, and fundraising strategy
- Develop and refine sector theses and mapping of emerging technology landscapes
- Represent the fund at conferences, founder events, and within the AI/deep-tech community
Key Requirements
- 6+ years relevant experience: VC investing with proven deals OR senior operator experience (product, business, or CXO) at an AI/deep-tech company
- Deep, demonstrable network in the AI founder/investor ecosystem
- Strong technical literacy in ML/AI systems, infrastructure, or core deep-tech areas; comfortable assessing technical teams and architectures
- Top-tier educational pedigree (graduate degrees or equivalent from leading institutions preferred)
- Excellent judgment, written/verbal communication, and stakeholder management
- Bias for action, high intellectual curiosity, and an owner mentality
