Position: Vice President Investments

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial professional to join our team as VP Investments. The role involves identifying, evaluating, and structuring strategic investment opportunities, particularly in asset-heavy startups across manufacturing and service industries.

The position will report directly to the Founder and play a key role in deal origination, fundraising, investor engagement, and portfolio monitoring, while also managing and guiding internal team members.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Sourcing & Deal Origination

Identify and source strategic investment opportunities across asset-heavy startups in manufacturing and service sectors

Originate and evaluate potential investment deals across diverse industries

Structure and execute USD 1Mn 5Mn structured debt or equity investments

Engage with existing members and investors while expanding outreach to HNIs, family offices, and wealth managers

Prepare and present investment proposals, deal notes, and investment memos

Conduct financial, commercial, and operational due diligence on potential investments

Build and maintain financial models and investment analysis

Support in preparing financial plans, cashflows, and MIS reporting of the primary business

Undertake post-transaction monitoring and evaluation (M&E) for asset oversight

Manage and monitor internal team members involved in research and transaction execution

Key Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 7+ years of experience in investments, private credit, investment banking, corporate finance, or asset management

Strong analytical abilities with expertise in financial modelling and investment analysis

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience preparing investment memos and investor materials

Demonstrated ability in deal origination and fundraising

Preferred Background

Strong network with HNIs, family offices, wealth managers, and business families

CA / CFA / MBA (Finance)

Experience working in boutique investment advisory platforms or lean teams will be an advantage
