Job Title: VP of Engineering

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Technical leader to lead our

talented team of developers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software

development, team leadership, and cloud-based SaaS product development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of 15-20 developers spread across 3-4 scrum teams, fostering a

collaborative and high-performing environment.

Closely take care of the development and delivery of web based software product using

Java and Angular.

Drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering, including Agile

methodologies and Scrum framework.

Drive architectural decisions based on strong technical knowledge

Critically evaluate solutions to business problems brought forward by team / tech leads

Guide team to build scalable and robust software product

Drive deployment and architectural decisions

Collaborate with product owner team to define product roadmaps and ensure timely

delivery of new features.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting continuous

learning and growth.

Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of cloud-based SaaS and on prem deployed

products.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation within the

team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 20+ years of experience in software development and team leadership.

Proven track record of leading teams of 15-20 developers in a fast-paced environment.

Hands on expertise in Java, Angular, Big Data, and cloud-based SaaS product development is

must.

Good understanding of architecture of software products is must.

Understanding of Spring Framework and Hibernate JPA.

Experience with Dev Ops, Application security.

Good understanding of NLP, AI and ML spectrum

Ability to come up with solutions to business problems

Ability to drive architecture decisions by strong technical evidences

Good understanding of how to write scalable software with resource constraints

Ability to evaluate technologies to use in the product

Ability to evaluate and closely review critical code snippets

In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
