Role Overview
Edmo is seeking a VP Product Engineering to lead and scale its engineering organization from Pune. This is a senior leadership role with a clearly defined progression to CXO-level (CTO / CPO) as the company grows.
The role owns product engineering execution, platform architecture, and engineering leadership, and includes direct customer engagement with U.S.-based enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale a 20+ person product engineering team across frontend, backend, platform, integrations, and infrastructure.
- Own architecture and delivery of enterprise-grade SaaS products with a focus on scalability, reliability, security, performance, and UX.
- Oversee UI/UX engineering, backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
- Drive complex system integrations (Salesforce, Slate, Marketing Cloud, SIS).
- Partner closely with product, AI, and go-to-market leaders on roadmap and execution.
- Act as a customer-facing technology leader, supporting enterprise implementations and strategic conversations.
- Establish best practices across engineering delivery, DevOps, quality, and operational excellence.
- Mentor senior engineers and engineering managers; build a high-accountability, ownership-driven culture.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience building and scaling SaaS or enterprise software products.
- Proven leadership of engineering teams of 20+.
- Strong technical depth across:
- Frontend systems and modern UI/UX
- Backend architecture and API platforms
- Cloud infrastructure and DevOps
- Systems integration and data workflows
- Experience delivering products with AI-powered capabilities.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills; comfortable in customer-facing roles.
- Prior experience in startup or scale-up environments.
- Willing and able to travel internationally (U.S. visa or travel history strongly preferred).
