Job Description

The Role:

The VP of Delivery is the delivery backbone of Forsys. You are not just a project manager at scale you are the strategic architect of how Forsys runs engagements: the governance model, the recovery playbook, the consulting standards, and the culture of accountability that makes clients renew and refer. You will own the health of the entire project portfolio and lead a team of Business Architects, Project Managers, and delivery leads who look to you as their compass.

This is a player-coach role. You will be in the details when it matters escalating blockers, reframing scope, rebuilding trust with a client at risk while simultaneously lifting the practice through mentorship, frameworks, and an AI-first consulting approach.

What You Will Do

Portfolio Governance & Project Health

  • Own the delivery health of all active Forsys engagements. Maintain a real-time view of project status green, at-risk, or red and ensure every at-risk engagement has a documented recovery path with clear owners and timelines.
  • Define and enforce Forsys delivery standards across the portfolio, including milestone governance, risk escalation protocols, change management practices, and executive reporting cadences.
  • Partner with engagement leads to conduct regular health checks and establish early warning systems before issues become client-visible.

AI-First Consulting Leadership

  • Lead the shift from traditional waterfall/agile delivery toward an agentic AI-augmented consulting model. Define how tools like Claude (for requirements validation and documentation), NotebookLM (for discovery synthesis), and Agentforce are embedded into the project lifecycle not as experiments, but as standard practice.
  • Coach Business Architects and PMs on how to use AI to compress discovery, accelerate requirements sign-off, produce better documentation, and surface risks earlier.

Cross-Functional Delivery Enablement

  • Serve as the senior advisor to PM, Development, Data Integration, Data Migration, and QA teams on best practices for Salesforce delivery ensuring a unified, consistent Forsys Consulting Approach regardless of team or engagement.
  • Drive the adoption of outcome-based project structures where success metrics are defined at kick-off and tracked through go-live not just scope and schedule.

Customer Success Partnership

  • Work closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure project milestones translate into measurable client business value. Ensure the handoff from delivery to ongoing success is seamless and trust-building.
  • Be the executive sponsor when client relationships require senior-level engagement, escalation resolution, or strategic re-alignment.

Requirements / Specifications

Practice Building

  • Develop and maintain Forsys delivery playbooks, templates, and consulting frameworks. Build the institutional knowledge that makes every new engagement start stronger than the last.
  • Hire, mentor, and develop Business Architects and Project Managers building a bench of delivery talent who can grow into senior leadership roles.

Experience

  • 10+ years in project leadership, program management, or Business Architecture within the Salesforce ecosystem at a consulting firm, systems integrator, or large enterprise delivery organization.
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-workstream Salesforce implementations involving Sales Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud (CPQ), or Industry Clouds.
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar project portfolios with direct accountability for delivery outcomes, client satisfaction, and margin.

Salesforce Domain

  • Deep expertise in Salesforce Core is mandatory. You must be able to credibly advise development teams, challenge scope decisions, and guide architecture choices.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ / Revenue Cloud is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, or Einstein AI features is a meaningful differentiator.

AI Literacy

  • Hands-on experience with at least one AI platform Agentforce, Claude/Anthropic, OpenAI, or comparable in a delivery or consulting context.
  • You understand how AI tools change the project lifecycle: accelerating discovery, automating documentation, enabling faster requirement validation, and surfacing delivery risks through pattern recognition.
  • You don't need to be an AI engineer but you need to be an informed, credible advocate who can lead teams through the transition to AI-augmented delivery.

Leadership & Mindset

  • Exceptional communicator equally comfortable presenting to a C-suite client as you are coaching a junior BA on stakeholder management.
  • Outcome-obsessed. You measure success by whether clients achieve the business results they hired Forsys to deliver not just whether the project closed on time.
  • Structured thinker who can operate in ambiguity, build frameworks from first principles, and hold teams accountable without creating fear.
