Vice President of Artificial Intelligence

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on AI Engineering leader to:

• Co-lead a 50+ member software engineering team along with our Senior Vice President - Technology Services

• Architect and deliver AI-first healthcare platforms

• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development (Claude, LLMs, automation tools)

• Transform the software division into a modern AI-powered engineering organization This role requires a strong on-site presence in Bengaluru and deep expertise in both:

• AI/ML systems (especially LLM-based solutions)

• Scalable enterprise software delivery

Key Responsibilities AI Strategy & Execution

• Define and execute the company's AI roadmap across:

o medical scribing automation o AI-assisted medical coding

o Virtual medical office solution (VMOS) platforms

o Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

• Build LLM-powered solutions using tools like Claude and similar platforms

• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains Engineering Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and scale a 70+ engineering team

• Establish strong engineering practices, coding standards, and delivery discipline

Leader in Virtual Medical Office Solutions

• Drive agile development, DevOps, and CI/CD adoption

• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure software delivery. AI Adoption & Training

• Train and enable engineering teams to:

o Use Claude and other AI tools for coding

o Automate testing, debugging, and documentation

• Create internal AI playbooks and best practices

• Promote a culture of AI-assisted productivity Product & Platform Development.

Architect and oversee development

o AI medical scribing platforms

o Clinical NLP systems

o Coding automation engines

o VMOS platforms

o Ensure compliance with US healthcare standards (HIPAA, etc.) Operational Excellence

• Transition from remote inefficiencies to high-performance on-site delivery

• Improve:

o Productivity

o Turnaround time

o Quality metrics

• Establish KPIs and performance dashboards Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with:

o Executive leadership

o SMEs in each of the operational segments based out of India and US offices.

Leader in Virtual Medical Office Solutions

• Translate business needs into technical solutions

Key Requirements

• 10–15 years in software engineering

• 5+ years in AI/ML or LLM-based systems

• Proven experience managing large engineering teams (50+)

• Experience in healthcare IT / RCM / clinical systems.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in:

o Large Language Models (LLMs)

o AI coding assistants (Claude, GPT, etc.)

o Python, Java, or modern backend stacks

o Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Experience with:

NLP, speech-to-text, clinical data processing

o API architecture & microservices

o DevOps and automation pipelines Leadership Skills
