We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Treasury CCAR Review & Challenge to join our Treasury Risk Stress Testing team. This role is located in Pune
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
You Will Support The Review & Challenge Of The CCAR / DFAST And Quarterly Stress Testing Program By Providing Independent Risk Analysis, Challenge, And Technical Oversight Of Stress Testing Assumptions, Methodologies, And Results, Consistent With Enterprise Governance And Regulatory Expectations.
- To perform a critical and objective challenge of stress scenario projections/results for all Balance Sheet components including Deposits, Loans, Treasury actions, Liquidity Risk metrics and Investment Portfolio, and associated P&L, to identify potential gaps and inaccuracies in estimation approaches
- Provide expert risk judgment on conceptual soundness, key assumptions, limitations, and vulnerabilities embedded in stress testing methodologies and outputs.
- Partner closely with Treasury, Finance, and Business Lines to ensure alignment of stress testing assumptions and outputs, while maintaining independent Second Line challenge and governance discipline.
- Develop clear, concise, and well supported narratives documenting key challenges, stress results, scenario impacts, and business implications for senior management, risk committees, and regulatory audiences.
- Present stress testing results, key risks, and capital impacts to senior management forums and risk committees, articulating both technical findings and high-level implications.
To be successful in this role, we are seeking the following:
- Exceptional and proven analytical skills
- Experience in a second line review & challenge function in a large financial institution, specifically covering PPNR workstream
- Understanding of a bank's Balance Sheet with a good understanding of basic accounting concepts
- CFA strongly preferred
- Technical degree including engineering, mathematics, physics, statistics, econometrics preferred.
- Minimum 5 years (5 - 7 preferred) of experience in a large bank or a financial services firm.
