Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Vice President – LoanIQ Production Support to provide technical and functional leadership for the LoanIQ platform supporting the Commercial Lending business.

The ideal candidate will combine strong LoanIQ and Commercial Lending domain expertise with hands-on technical skills in SQL, Python, Unix/Linux and Shell scripting. The role requires strong ownership of production stability, complex incident resolution, operational resilience, automation, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 production support and end-to-end ownership for LoanIQ and associated lending applications.
• Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex production incidents, including major/critical incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive permanent remediation of recurring issues.
• Troubleshoot LoanIQ workflows, batch processes, interfaces, application logs and database-related issues.
• Use SQL extensively for production investigation, data analysis, reconciliation and problem resolution.
• Develop Python and Shell scripts to automate monitoring, operational activities, reconciliation and repetitive support tasks.
• Support application releases, production deployments and post-release stabilization.
• Partner with Commercial Lending business, operations, development, infrastructure and vendor teams to resolve issues and improve service stability.
• Drive improvements in monitoring, observability, automation, operational resilience and support processes.
• Mentor team members and help build stronger end-to-end ownership and engineering discipline within the production support function.

Required Skills & Experience:

LoanIQ & Domain

• Strong hands-on experience with LoanIQ production support.
• Strong understanding of the Commercial Lending lifecycle, including deal/facility setup, drawdowns, repayments, interest, fees, amendments and loan servicing.
• Knowledge of bilateral and syndicated lending and LoanIQ integrations with payment, accounting, reporting and downstream systems.

Technical

• Strong SQL and relational database skills.
• Hands-on experience with Python for scripting, data analysis and automation.
• Strong Unix/Linux and Shell scripting skills.
• Experience troubleshooting batch processes, interfaces, application logs and production data issues.
• Exposure to APIs, monitoring/observability and enterprise scheduling tools is desirable.

Leadership & Production Support

• Strong experience in Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management.
• Ability to lead critical incidents and communicate effectively with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proactive mindset focused on stability, automation, resilience and elimination of recurring incidents.
• Experience within a large banking or financial-services environment preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.

Ideal Profile: A hands-on senior LoanIQ specialist who understands Commercial Lending deeply, can troubleshoot across application and database layers, and can lead production support from a reactive support model toward a more proactive, automated and engineering-led operating model.
