About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Management Analyst
In this role, you will:
Organize and lead complex companywide initiatives to ensure that data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes
Oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements
Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues
Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of data governance standards and procedures
Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data
Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members
Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy
Serve as relationship manager for a line of business
Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility
Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in finance, statistics, engineering.
Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Experience in SQL, MS Access, Ab Initio Express IT, Informatica, Metadata Hub, Collibra, Power BI and Alteryx
Experience in Data related platforms/tools and Data Management, Collibra, Abnitio preferred
Experience with Metadata/Data dictionaries management including technical/business
content and data lineage
Experience with Data Quality principals or monitoring
Experience in Data mapping and data profiling
Solid experience with MS Excel.
Job Expectations:
The role requires a developed understanding of enterprise finance applications, complex data management and understanding the system architecture, viz. CARD, FDLZ, MOSART, Hyperion, OLAP
Should have expert level knowledge on Enterprise Metadata Hub, Collibra, Power BI and Alteryx
Hands on experience on Data mapping, Lineage, Data Dictionaries and Data management concepts.
Manage and supervise day-to-day operations of a team.
Recommend operational improvements.
Plan, direct and evaluate workflow, assignments and distribution
Lead stakeholder development by maintaining ongoing interaction that increases their awareness, understanding, accountability, and engagement in the reporting process.
Lead implementation of complex projects and initiatives impacting one or more lines of
Business
Ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and
works with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives.
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers.
Lead team to achieve objectives and monitor BAU of individuals according to established standards.
Train and coach individuals.
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Data Management
Mentor and guide talent development of other team members.
Ability to lead and mentor colleagues.
Experience in leading complex data management programs/assignments
Experience in working with remote teams.
Experience in facilitating and hosting working group sessions.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
