Job Description

You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Fixed Income portfolio analytics, reporting, and commercialization. You have found the right team. As an Investment Specialist / Lead within our Global Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (GFICC) - Portfolio Management & Investment Specialist team, you will be responsible for shaping portfolio strategy communication, improving client-facing deliverables, and ensuring consistent execution across reporting, onboarding, and commercialization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support product commercialization by helping monetize fixed income offerings.
  • Create client-ready materials, insights, and market/portfolio commentaries.
  • Prepare and review strategy presentations covering performance, market value, and attribution.
  • Develop portfolio analytics and characteristics (risk, exposure, duration, sector/credit views, etc.).
  • Compile and maintain holdings detail, positioning narratives, and portfolio summaries.
  • Customize client presentations for Investment Specialist review meetings and updates.
  • Analyze portfolio positioning, analytics, and performance results to explain outcomes.
  • Draft client performance reports and investment review materials with clear performance-driver commentary.
  • Lead new client onboarding and fund launches by partnering with middle office, guidelines, and client service teams.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Consultants, and RFP teams to deliver timely, accurate content.
  • Drive global initiatives (competitor analysis, process efficiencies, new thought pieces/content, ESG initiatives) to scale and commercialize strategies.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Atleast 8 years of experience in financial markets.
  • Strong understanding of Fixed Income and the asset management business.
  • Proficiency in Python (including prior coding experience).
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills (data analysis ability to understand data flows).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven time management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Demonstrated delivery focus in deadline-driven environments.
  • Self-starter mindset with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple seniority levels and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Master's degree in Finance/Economics/Business Administration (or equivalent).
  • CFA or FRM candidacy is a plus.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability (beyond core requirements).
