About The Department
Research & Investment Services (RIS) is one of the core service lines offered by TresVista to its clients, providing modeling and financial analysis, research, due diligence, valuation and portfolio management, deal sourcing, and marketing and communications. The delivery team comprises highly skilled professionals who are intended to be an extension of the client's team and are further supported by additional value-added functions. They serve various clients across public and private equity, investment banks, and other corporates, wealth management firms, portfolio companies, etc.
Role Expectations
The Vice President will act as a key link between clients and delivery teams, owning end-to-end execution, managing client relationships, and driving scalable delivery across investment banking workflows.
Technical Understanding
- End-to-end understanding of the Investment Banking & Advisory value chain across one or more product strategies
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, including accounting (GAAP/IFRS preferred), financial modeling and valuation, and research skills
- Ability to understand and analyze various industries and businesses from an investment banking perspective

Client & Project Management
- Own client relationships, onboard new clients, drive client integration, manage expectations and enable expansion opportunities
- Ensure end-to-end delivery quality and timelines, along with an approach to value addition wherever applicable
- Focus on client advisory and act as a thought partner
- Guide Associates and Analysts on various parts of the project and ensure efficient delivery
- Help identify, develop and deploy AI workflow agents and drive adoption across the team to improve productivity and scalability
- Engage with clients to understand their requirements, translate them for the team, and ensure action
- Work with end-market/persona heads and relationship managers to retain and expand existing client relationships
AI & Innovation Leadership
- Lead AI adoption across Investment Banking & Advisory practice, embedding AI-enabled workflows to improve productivity, turnaround time, and scalability
- Drive identification and deployment of AI use cases with measurable efficiency gains
- Partner with internal tech team to operationalize AI solutions, translating business needs into scalable, embedded tools
- Build AI capability across the team, driving structured upskilling and ensuring consistent, team-wide adoption
Continuously optimize delivery models using AI, linking adoption to efficiency, cost leverage, and scale
Team Management And Leadership
- Effectively manage and lead a team of Analysts and Associates to engage and retain them
- Develop SME depth in specific sectors/products, work closely with Associates, and guide them on day-to-day project management and delivery
- Mentor, train, and develop Associates and Analysts as future Vice Presidents
- Participate in training and recruitment activities for Analysts and Associates
- Work with other departments to ensure adherence and compliance with processes

Prerequisites
- Firm grasp of various aspects of finance and analytical ability
- Prior team and project management experience is preferred
- Prior client-facing experience is preferred
- Experience working with various asset classes and/or investment banking product strategies
- Strong eye for detail and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work demanding hours and meet client-driven deadlines (strong time management skills required)
Experience
- An MBA / PGDM in Finance, CA, CFA or similar qualification with a minimum of 6 years of work experience, or
- 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree in any field, preferably in finance and/or accounting
Education
Any graduate; MBA/PGDM, CA, or CFA preferred
