Position Overview:
Lead and institutionalize the advisory practice for a digital-first wealth platform in India, with end-to-end ownership of advisory strategy, client outcomes, AUA growth, and governance. The role focuses on building a scalable, high-quality advisory ecosystem that enhances portfolio performance, deepens client relationships, and drives sustainable business impact.

Responsibilities
1. Advisory Strategy & Business Ownership
- Build and scale a differentiated India advisory value proposition to deepen advisory engagement across client segments.
- Own AUA growth, portfolio quality, and commercial yield through advisory-led interventions.
- Identify and drive engagement across large and strategic client segments via structured advisory frameworks.
- Take full ownership of advisory viability as a business, including penetration, revenue contribution, and scalability.
- Drive quarterly action plans with business teams to align investment strategy with organizational priorities.
- Conduct periodic review of AUA and portfolio composition to identify opportunities and optimize outcomes.
2. Portfolio Advisory & Client Outcomes
- Oversee portfolio review frameworks, investment proposals, and client communication to improve conversion and engagement.
- Enhance model portfolios across risk profiles, ensuring strong alignment with suitability and risk-return objectives.
- Ensure timely execution of asset allocation calls with minimal cost and delay.
- Proactively guide clients and teams through market events, volatility, drawdowns, and portfolio optimization strategies.
- Provide clear, unbiased, and research-driven inputs in Investment Committees and strategic forums.
- Continuously refine advisory processes to maintain an institutional-grade client proposition.
3. Product, Platform & Feedback Loop
- Partner with product teams to provide structured feedback on product acceptance, client appetite, and improvement areas.
- Strengthen portfolio and product review frameworks and embed them within digital advisory journeys.
- Enable a strong feedback loop from clients and frontline teams to improve product-market fit and platform experience.
4. Risk, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure strict adherence to advisory processes, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive repositories of asset allocation decisions, approvals, and audit trails.
- Develop a strong risk mindset across business, product, and client portfolios.
- Track regulatory changes and implement best practices across advisory operations.
- Proactively identify and escalate potential risks or breaches impacting business integrity.
5. Leadership & Team Development
- Build, mentor, and guide the advisory team to ensure consistency in delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Drive a culture of client-centricity, integrity, empathy, and high performance.
- Develop team capabilities in problem-solving, market expertise, and advisory delivery.
- Create structured learning roadmaps and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives across teams.
- Establish a strong business continuity and operating framework for the advisory function.
