Role Overview
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing large-scale IT operations within technology-driven, IT services, BPM, BPO, KPO, or digital services organizations. This position requires a strategic thinker who can modernize infrastructure, strengthen security posture, optimize operational efficiency, and lead high-performing technical teams across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Transformation
- Define and execute the organization's IT infrastructure roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead initiatives focused on cloud adoption, infrastructure modernization, automation, and operational transformation.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that enhance scalability, resilience, and efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement programs to optimize infrastructure performance and service delivery.
IT Infrastructure & Operations Management
- Direct the day-to-day management of enterprise IT operations, ensuring stability and availability of critical systems.
- Oversee cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments, including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms.
- Act as the senior escalation point for major incidents, service disruptions, and operational challenges.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL-based practices covering incident, problem, change, and service management.
- Maintain high levels of system uptime, reliability, and performance across all technology platforms.
- Manage development, testing, staging, and production environments to support seamless business and client operations.
Business Continuity & Resilience
- Establish and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks.
- Conduct regular recovery testing and ensure readiness for critical infrastructure failures.
- Implement high-availability architectures and redundancy measures for mission-critical systems.
Security, Governance & Compliance
- Ensure infrastructure environments comply with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with cybersecurity teams to strengthen enterprise security controls and risk management practices.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop infrastructure, operations, and support teams across multiple locations.
- Build organizational capability through coaching, succession planning, and continuous skill development.
Vendor & Financial Management
- Manage strategic relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and infrastructure partners.
- Oversee infrastructure budgets, forecasting, procurement planning, and cost optimization initiatives.
