Job Brief:

We are looking for an experienced Vice President - Human Resources (Manufacturing Division) to build the talent and people ecosystem for our next-generation aerospace manufacturing operations. The role will lead strategic hiring for state-of-the-art production labs across cutting-edge technologies such as CNC, Additive Manufacturing, Laminating and composites, while partnering with Production HODs to map critical skills and build future-ready technical teams. The leader will also drive robust workforce planning, shift & roster systems, HR Operations, capability building, and Health & Safety, creating a high-performance, technology-enabled workforce that will shape the future of aerospace manufacturing.

This is a senior leadership role combining data-driven strategy, framework design and team execution.

Essential Skills:

  • Good understanding of manufacturing and shop-floor ecosystem.
  • Ability to assess skill gaps based on machines, processes and production requirements.
  • Experience in workforce planning, shift/roster management and HR Operations.
  • Ability to identify critical skills and future talent requirements for evolving manufacturing technologies.
  • Strong ownership of Health, Safety, compliance and employee engagement across production environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with senior leadership.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with hands-on HR/production experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Aerospace, Defence, Automotive, Electronics or Manufacturing.
  • Exposure to Metal, Composite, Electronics, Assembly or Maintenance functions.
  • Data-driven and process-oriented approach.

As Vice President - Human Resources (Manufacturing Division), you will:

  • Lead hiring and sourcing teams to build strong talent pipelines for critical manufacturing and technical roles.
  • Drive skill-based hiring using production requirements, machine capabilities, trade tests and workforce data.
  • Own the skill and workforce data repository, mapping current capabilities, gaps and future manpower needs.
  • Partner with Production leaders on workforce planning, shift/roster requirements and skill-gap closure.
  • Build and develop a high-performing HR team with strong ownership of hiring, HR Operations and workforce effectiveness.
  • Strengthen processes around Health & Safety, employee engagement and production HR.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Master's degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in HR, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
