About the Role -

We are seeking a strategic and transformational Vice President – Human Resources to lead the enterprise-wide HR function for a large multinational organization. Reporting to the Group CHRO/CEO, this role will drive people strategy, organizational transformation, workforce planning, leadership development, and HR digitalization across domestic and international operations.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished HR leader with extensive experience managing large-scale workforces, driving organizational change, and leveraging technology, analytics, and AI to build a future-ready HR function.

Key Responsibilities -

HR Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Develop and execute the enterprise-wide HR strategy aligned with business objectives, growth plans, and organizational priorities.
  • Partner with executive leadership to strengthen organizational capability, workforce effectiveness, and business performance.
  • Provide strategic HR advisory to business leaders on people, culture, organizational design, and talent-related initiatives.
  • Drive HR governance and ensure alignment with corporate strategy across business units and geographies.

Talent Management & Workforce Planning

  • Lead enterprise workforce planning to support current and future business requirements.
  • Oversee talent acquisition strategies for leadership and critical business roles.
  • Design and implement succession planning, leadership development, and talent management frameworks.
  • Strengthen organizational capability through structured learning, career development, and leadership pipeline initiatives.

Organization Development & Change Management

  • Lead large-scale organizational transformation and change management programs.
  • Drive organizational design, restructuring, culture transformation, and workforce modernization initiatives.
  • Build high-performance work environments that promote collaboration, agility, innovation, and employee engagement.
  • Develop strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness and improve employee experience.

HR Digital Transformation

  • Lead HR technology modernization initiatives across SAP HR, SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, and other HR platforms.
  • Drive adoption of AI-enabled HR solutions, automation, workforce analytics, and digital HR ecosystems.
  • Optimize HR processes through technology integration, process standardization, and automation.
  • Establish data-driven HR decision-making through advanced people analytics and workforce intelligence.

Performance, Rewards & Employee Experience

  • Oversee enterprise performance management, goal-setting, and performance review frameworks.
  • Lead compensation, benefits, rewards, and recognition strategies aligned with business and market practices.
  • Develop initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, well-being, and organizational culture.
  • Foster a positive workplace environment through proactive employee relations and communication.

HR Operations, Governance & Compliance

  • Oversee HR operations, policies, governance frameworks, and service delivery across multiple business units.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory regulations, corporate governance standards, and employment legislation.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, controls, and risk management frameworks.
  • Monitor HR performance metrics and drive continuous improvement across HR processes.

Global HR Leadership

  • Lead HR initiatives across domestic and international operations while ensuring consistency in people practices.
  • Support multi-country workforce management and global talent strategies.
  • Partner with international leadership teams to align HR programs across global operations.
  • Drive cross-cultural leadership development and global organizational capability.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR leadership team across Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and HR Business Partner functions.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Build organizational capability through coaching, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Drive excellence across HR service delivery and strategic business partnering.

Required Qualifications & Experience -

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • 18–22 years of progressive HR leadership experience within large multinational or diversified organizations.
  • Proven experience leading HR functions for organizations with 10,000+ employees across multiple locations.
  • Demonstrated success driving HR transformation, organizational development, and workforce modernization.
  • Strong expertise in Talent Management, Organization Development, HR Strategy, Workforce Planning, and Change Management.
  • Extensive experience with SAP HR, SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, HR Analytics, Automation, and AI-enabled HR technologies.
  • Strong business partnering, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities.
