Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Vice President – Human Resources to lead the people agenda across our healthcare and education ecosystem. The role will drive talent strategy, organizational development, workforce planning, employee engagement, compliance, and HR transformation initiatives aligned with institutional growth objectives.

The incumbent will serve as a key strategic partner to leadership in building a high-performance, people-centric culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition & Pre-Joining Management

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment strategy and execution for faculty, clinicians, nurses and non-clinical talent.
  • Drive workforce planning, talent sourcing, assessment and selection processes.
  • Strengthen hiring quality through structured evaluation frameworks and training of line managers on selection methodologies.
  • Build robust talent pipelines to support organizational growth.

2. Selection, Onboarding & Orientation

  • Oversee seamless onboarding and orientation programs for new hires across business units.
  • Design and institutionalize structured induction processes to ensure faster integration and productivity.
  • Partner with departmental leaders to enhance candidate and employee experience.

3. Employee Life Cycle Management

  • Lead the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding to development, engagement and retention.
  • Drive learning & development initiatives, leadership capability building and succession planning.
  • Oversee performance management, appraisal and rewards systems that foster high performance.
  • Develop and monitor HR metrics and dashboards including attrition, absenteeism, compensation trends and workforce analytics.
  • Support current and future business needs through talent development, engagement and retention strategies.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative and high-performing work culture.

4. Employee Relations & Severance Management

  • Manage employee relations, grievance handling and conflict resolution.
  • Oversee labor mediation, disciplinary matters and claim handling.
  • Ensure fair, compliant and dignified separation and severance processes.

5. HR Strategy, Policy & Transformation

  • Develop and implement progressive HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Review, strengthen and institutionalize HR policies, systems and SOPs across the group.
  • Lead organizational development and HR transformation initiatives.
  • Drive regulatory compliance awareness through policy communication and training programs.
  • Act as a bridge between management and employees to strengthen trust and engagement.

6. Administration, Compliance & Legal

  • Ensure legal and statutory compliance across all aspects of human resource management.
  • Oversee HR administration related to faculty and staff matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth institutional operations.
  • Support governance, audits, compliance reviews and other strategic or operational responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources / MSW or equivalent from a reputed institution.
  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in healthcare organizations.
  • Proven experience in strategic HR, talent management, employee relations and compliance.
  • Experience in leading large, diverse and multi-location teams preferred.

Compensation: Up to ₹18 LPA (negotiable for the right candidate).
