POSITION SUMMARY:** The Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer plays a pivotal role in driving BNY's Engineering initiatives within the Full-Stack Development job family. This role requires a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, contributing to the seamless integration of complex systems. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Lead the design and development of full-stack applications by utilizing industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features that enhance user experience and system performance. - Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. - Ensure high quality and performant code through comprehensive testing and debugging processes. - Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the strategic direction of BNY's technology solutions. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and integrate new technologies to advance BNY's engineering capabilities. **EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Advanced degree preferred. **EXPERIENCE:** - Typically 5-9 years of experience. **SKILLS:** - Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, demonstrating expertise in full-stack development. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, essential for working within diverse teams.
