Vice President, Finance

About the Role

A globally recognized financial services firm with a growing APAC presence is looking for a commercially sharp VP of Finance to join their regional team. You'll work directly with the Managing Director and regional business heads, translating financial data into insights that drive real decisions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance partner to senior business stakeholders across APAC, providing analysis and insights to support commercial decision-making
• Lead the regional budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning process, coordinating with key stakeholders across the business
• Ensure data integrity and that appropriate process and system controls are in place across regional finance operations
• Liaise with business leaders to understand requirements and optimize finance resource deployment across the region
• Identify and drive process improvements across financial reporting, planning, and internal controls

Requirements

• Degree in Finance or Accountancy; Chartered Accountant, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualifications
• 10+ years of relevant experience, exposure to asset management, alternatives, or capital markets is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS, with familiarity in tax compliance and regulatory reporting
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with high proficiency in Excel
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences
