Job Description

  • Own and execute the global engineering strategy, roadmap, and operating model aligned to business and digital priorities
  • Rationalize legacy systems and reduce fragmentation across regions and domains Establish clear domain ownership and platform boundaries
  • Lead a globally distributed engineering organization across multiple regions, ensuring alignment, accountability, traceability, and delivery excellence
  • Drive adoption and implementation of Agile at scale (SAFe 6.0), establishing consistent delivery practices and governance
  • Build and scale AI-enabled engineering capabilities, including support for agentic systems, automation, and intelligent services embedded into platforms and operations
  • Oversee end-to-end engineering across:
  • Application development (web, mobile including iOS, Android, React Native, .Net, Angular)
  • Platform engineering and architecture
  • DevOps and CI/CD (Azure -DevOps, Bitbucket)
  • QA and test automation
  • Identity and access management (Okta, Auth0)
  • Real-time systems and messaging integrations
  • Performance and reliability engineering (Splunk, Site24x7, Uptrends)
  • Lead cloud-native engineering and architecture on Microsoft Azure, including serverless (Azure Functions), APIs (.NET, Java), and scalable distributed systems
  • Own the architecture and evolution of web, mobile, and messaging experience layers
  • Drive adoption of modern frontend frameworks and headless/composable architecture
  • Ensure consistent, personalized, omnichannel customer experiences
  • Ensure engineering excellence across modern tech stack including Java, Node.js, .NET, and API-first Architectures
  • Own platform scalability, performance, resilience, and security across all systems
  • Partner with Data and Enterprise Services teams to enable real-time and data-driven capabilities
  • Drive integration strategies across Salesforce, digital platforms, and enterprise systems
  • Establish and lead Engineering Centers of Excellence (COEs) across key domains
  • Build and foster a high-performance engineering culture focused on ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Provide hands-on leadership, guidance, and mentorship to senior engineering leaders and teams
  • Manage ISV and vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, cost efficiency, and long-term scalability
  • Define and manage engineering KPIs, SLAs, and operational performance metrics
  • Collaborate with Product and Digital Experience teams to ensure seamless delivery of customer-facing capabilities
  • Support payment and transactional platform integrations including Adyen and related ecosystems
  • Act as a strategic partner to Product, Data, CRM, and Service Delivery leadership to ensure end-to-end platform alignment
  • Lead cross-functional decision-making on architecture, priorities, and trade-offs
  • Influence executive stakeholders on platform investment and technology direction
  • Platform reliability and performance (SLAs, SLOs, uptime, response times)
  • Assists with other duties as assigned
