Who we are looking for:
The Vice President, CPO Business Management plays a critical role in the day‑to‑day business management, operational reporting, and strategic communication of the Product organization. This role sits at the intersection of content, business management, and execution, supporting the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the CPO.
The role is responsible for driving operational rigor and transparency across the CPO through business management reporting, headcount and capacity tracking, risk and control support, OKRs, operating model documentation, and monthly business review (MBR) commentary, while continuing to own and govern Product content and narrative.
The individual will bring strong execution discipline, analytical insight, and structured thinking to help Product leadership navigate complex priorities, trade‑offs, and operating challenges with clarity and pace.
This role partners closely with the Product CAO and Product leadership to ensure that Product strategy, performance, and risks are clearly articulated, consistently governed, and effectively communicated.
The ideal candidate combines strong strategic judgment, executive communication expertise, and operational discipline, with the ability to lead content at scale in a complex, fast‑paced environment.

What you will be responsible for
Product Business Management & Reporting
Own and facilitate business management reporting for the Product organization, including dashboards, scorecards, and executive‑level summaries
Produce monthly business review (MBR) materials and commentary, translating data into clear insights, risks, and actions for leadership
Support OKR definition, tracking, and reporting, ensuring alignment between strategy, execution, and outcomes
Develop and maintain operating model documentation, including roles, responsibilities, governance forums, and decision rights
Headcount, Capacity & Resource Management
Partner with Finance, HR, and the Product CAO to support:
Headcount tracking and reporting
Capacity and utilization analysis
Workforce planning inputs and hiring approvals
Maintain transparent views into resource allocation and constraints across Product
Product related Strategic Narrative and data gathering
Review Product content and narrative, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with strategic and operational priorities. Write commentaries, where necessary.
Translate Product strategy, performance, and risks into clear, compelling executive‑level commentaries
Coordinate across teams for content creation for senior forums, leadership updates, and cross‑functional communications
Act as a liaison between the Product Office and partner teams to ensure messaging accuracy and consistency
Employee Engagement, Talent & Culture Enablement
Partner with the Talent, Learning & Culture (TLC) Council and related workstreams to support employee engagement, learning, and culture initiatives within the Product organization.
Coordinate Product participation in enterprise and BU‑level engagement programs, ensuring alignment with Product priorities and capacity.
Track and report on engagement‑related metrics, actions, and outcomes, including follow‑through on survey results, action plans, and leadership commitments.
Support leadership with materials, reporting, and updates for TLC Council forums, engagement reviews, and related governance meetings.
Write commentaries for quarterly internal newsletters and internal social media posts
Risk, Controls & Governance Support
Support Product leadership in risk identification, issue tracking, and control remediation, including coordination with Operational Risk, Compliance, and Audit
Assist with documentation and tracking of control actions, governance decisions, and remediation plans
Help embed consistent governance and operating discipline across Product initiatives
Execution & Cross‑Functional Coordination
Manage and support strategic, tactical, and ad‑hoc initiatives on behalf of Product leadership
Act as a trusted partner to the Product CAO helping drive follow‑through on commitments, decisions, and action items
Coordinate with Marketing, Sales Support, Finance, HR, Risk, and other CAO functions to ensure aligned execution
Operational Excellence & Enablement
Drive continuous improvement in business management processes, leveraging tools, templates, and automation where appropriate
Leverage AI tools (including Copilot) to improve reporting efficiency, insight generation, and content quality
Mentor junior team members and help build a strong bench of business management and content talent
Support ad hoc strategic initiatives and projects as needed
What we value

Demonstrated experience in business management, CAO, chief of staff, or strategy support roles
Strong ability to translate data into executive‑ready insights and narratives
Experience with headcount, financial, and workforce data, and comfort working across Finance and HR partners
Proven ability to operate in a matrixed, fast‑paced, and highly regulated environment
Strong execution rigor with an ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills familiarity with AI‑enabled productivity tools (e.g., Copilot)
High emotional intelligence, sound business judgment, and discretion when supporting senior leaders
Ability to act as a trusted advisor, balancing challenge with partnership
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Overall, 15+ years of work experience.
8+ years of relevant business/product experience prior experience in CAO, business management, strategy, consulting, or transformation roles strongly preferred
Experience supporting senior leaders within Product, Investment Services, or adjacent financial services functions a plus
Bachelor's degree required MBA or advanced degree preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
