Role Overview
We are seeking a senior, highly accomplished, and hands-on AI & Analytics leader to drive large-scale transformation for a strategic global account. This role will provide end-to-end ownership of AI & Analytics services, including P&L responsibility, revenue growth, delivery excellence, and capability building across multiple programs and Centers of Excellence (CoEs).
The leader will manage and scale a 40–70+ member organization, comprising senior engagement leaders, project managers, architects, and analytics professionals. The ideal candidate will be a proven account owner and thought leader, with deep expertise across the analytics and AI lifecycle, a strong consulting mindset, and a demonstrated ability to independently grow large accounts through RFP leadership, strategic pursuits, and innovation-led delivery.
This role requires a unique blend of strategic vision, commercial acumen, technical depth, and execution rigor.
Key Responsibilities
Account Leadership
- Serve as the executive AI & Analytics leader and single-point owner for the account, with responsibility for strategy, delivery, financial performance, and long-term growth.
- Build and sustain trusted advisory relationships with CXO and senior client stakeholders, shaping the client's enterprise data, analytics, AI, and GenAI agenda.
- Define and execute a multi-year AI & Analytics roadmap aligned to business outcomes and transformation priorities.
Delivery Excellence
- Oversee and govern multiple large, complex analytics, AI, and GenAI engagements spanning data engineering, analytics, data science, AI/ML, GenAI, and BI.
- Ensure consistent high-quality delivery, adherence to EXL standards, strong financial discipline, and proactive risk management.
- Provide hands-on executive guidance on solution architecture, operating models, and delivery strategy for high-impact programs.
- Own escalation management and ensure zero critical delivery failures.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing organization of 40–70+ professionals, including senior leaders and managers.
- Build and mature Centers of Excellence (CoEs) across analytics, AI/ML, GenAI, and BI.
- Drive leadership development, succession planning, and career progression to build a strong long-term leadership bench.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
Growth & Transformation
- Own revenue growth and margin performance for the account, including forecasting and long-term financial planning.
- Independently lead and win RFPs, large proposals, and strategic pursuits, from solutioning through executive presentations and commercials.
- Identify and convert new opportunities through consulting-led engagements, AI/ML, GenAI, and advanced analytics offerings.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop differentiated offerings, accelerators, and IP that drive measurable client value.
Required Skills & Experience
Leadership Experience
- Proven success in leading large-scale analytics and AI programs with full P&L and revenue management responsibility.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams of 30+ professionals for multiple years in a consulting or analytics services environment.
- Ability to independently manage large accounts, drive growth, and scale delivery organizations.
Technical Expertise
- Deep, end-to-end expertise across the analytics lifecycle, including:
- Data management and data governance
- Data engineering and cloud platforms
- Advanced analytics and data science
- AI, ML, and Generative AI
- Business intelligence and visualization
- Strong understanding of modern cloud ecosystems, AI toolchains, and enterprise data architectures.

Preferred Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in analytics, data science, AI, or related fields, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Prior experience in management consulting or analytics services supporting large, global clients.
- Demonstrated experience leading RFPs, proposals, and large transformation deals.
- Exceptional communication, executive presentation, and thought leadership capabilities.

- CSAT above agreed benchmarks (e.g., >8/10)

Pointers
- The individual must have owned P&L responsibilities, including revenue and margin management, and led teams of 30+ professionals for at least 2+ years (overall 12+ years of industry experience).
- Must have actively led and won RFPs and large project proposals, including solutioning and executive-level client discussions.
- Ability to independently lead and grow large client engagements and CoEs with minimal supervision.
- Must be a recognized thought leader in analytics/AI/GenAI, with the ability to both innovate and deliver with outstanding quality.
- Must have deep, hands-on experience across the full analytics lifecycle, including data management, data engineering, analytics, AI, Generative AI, and BI.
