Our client, a leading global banking firm, provides industry-focused financial services to clients across geographies. They are currently looking to hire a seasoned Risk professional to join and expand their Risk Reporting team based in Bengaluru.

This is a strategic hiring initiative, and we are specifically seeking experienced professionals at the VP level who can play a key role in building and scaling the function from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the Risk Reporting Hub: Recruit and manage staff, compile report inventories, and agree migration timelines, SLAs, and KPIs with operating units (e.g., Credit Analytics, Model Risk).
  • Centralize all reporting types (management, internal, regulatory) starting with Americas Risk Management, expanding to EMEA and APAC.
  • Deliver timely reports across regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC ex-Japan, Japan) enhance existing reports, develop new ones, and retire redundancies.
  • Collaborate with Risk Managers, Technology, and Data teams to analyze exposures (VaR, PFE, stress testing), update policies, and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Articulate Hub growth to senior leadership, optimizing processes for global efficiency.

Role requirements

  • Bachelor's in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Management or a technical or quantitative field.
  • 10-15 years in banking / financial services, including risk reporting for market or counterparty credit risk understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and key metrics (VaR, PFE, stress testing).
  • Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, VBA, Power BI, and data analysis.
  • Excellent stakeholder influence, communication, and multitasking in dynamic environments with tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to standardize processes and manage cross-regional teams.
  • Preferred: RDBMS (SQL / Oracle), Tableau, Python, C#, or C++.
