Key responsibilities

Providing legal advice on employment and labour matters, regulatory requirements, litigation and contractual documentation.
Managing company secretarial responsibilities and ensuring compliance with Indian company law.
Advising business units on legal risks, regulatory developments and corporate governance.
Partnering with India, APAC and global legal teams on legal matters and strategic initiatives.
Managing external counsel and advising senior leadership on key legal issues.

Role requirements

12-15 years of post-qualification experience.
Indian law-qualified lawyer and Company Secretary.
Mandatory prior experience in a banking GCC.
Strong expertise in employment and labour laws, corporate governance, company law and legal documentation.
Prior in-house legal experience within a financial institution or global capability centre.
Excellent stakeholder management, drafting and communication skills.
