Job Description

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to elevate team performance by coaching modern agile practices that drive measurable outcomes.

As an Agility Lead in JP Morgan Chase within the Corporate Technology team , you help teams adopt and refine agile ways of working to deliver highquality outcomes at speed. You partner closely with developers and product analysts to foster collaboration, continual learning, and continuous improvement across planning, execution, and review.

Job responsibilities

  • Drive team planning and maintain a ready, prioritized backlog for the next 2-3 sprints to ensure welldefined work is always available.
  • Guide development teams in adopting and improving agile practices facilitate Scrum and Kanban cadences based on team maturity (planning, daily standups, refinement, reviews, retrospectives).
  • Track and manage teamlevel dependencies using a clear, visible dependency board to protect sprint delivery.
  • Prepare and facilitate endofsprint demos and reviews with product leaders and stakeholders.
  • Sustain tools, standards, and delivery hygiene across workflows, ensuring accurate delivery data and compliant processes.
  • Measure and improve agility outcomes using core metrics such as backlog health, churn, velocity, and commitment vs. completion drive productivity initiatives in partnership with the broader team.
  • Capture and execute a team improvement backlog to remove impediments, streamline flow, and uplift agile skills through targeted training and coaching.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise coaching teams and individuals in agile methodologies and project management.
  • Experience managing and developing individual contributors.
  • Advanced knowledge of product development lifecycle stages, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of agile delivery and multiple agile approaches, including Scrum and Kanban, with the ability to guide teams using agility metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on team collaboration.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification in Agile coaching (e.g., recognized coaching certifications).
  • Experience leading change management and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Proficiency with agile delivery tooling and practices for backlog management, dependency tracking, and metrics reporting.
  • Experience facilitating quarterly planning and crossteam collaboration at scale.
