Vibration Specialist - Condition Monitoring & Anomaly Detection Job

Role Summary

We are seeking a Vibration Specialist (ISO CAT II Certified) with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support the development of next-generation condition monitoring and predictive maintenance solutions. The ideal candidate will combine deep vibration analysis expertise with an understanding of software logic and data-driven model development.

Experiences

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide domain expertise in vibration analysis, fault diagnosis, and machine health assessment for rotating equipment.
• Collaborate with software and data science teams to define logic, rules, and patterns for condition monitoring applications.
• Contribute to the design and validation of anomaly detection models for identifying mechanical faults such as unbalance, misalignment, bearing defects, and looseness.
• Review and interpret time-domain and frequency-domain vibration data to establish fault thresholds and decision logic.
• Work closely with IoT, analytics, and development teams to ensure accurate sensor data interpretation and model accuracy.
• Validate software outputs against real-world machine behavior and suggest tuning improvements.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and customer stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

• ISO CAT II certification in Vibration Analysis (CAT III preferred).
• 8 to 10 years of experience in condition monitoring or predictive maintenance.
• In-depth understanding of vibration signatures, FFT, envelope analysis, and bearing fault frequencies.
• Strong ability to translate physical failure modes into software logic or algorithmic rules.
• Familiarity with machine learning or anomaly detection concepts is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams (engineering, IT, data science).
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
