Job Title / Designation: VFX Generalist – Compositing & Prep
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Partnerships Associate to join our Partnerships & Branded Content team. This role is crucial in expanding Toolbox's collaborations with leading brands by identifying new partnership opportunities, initiating contact with key decision-makers, and laying the foundation for strategic alliances.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute high-quality compositing by integrating live-action footage, CG elements, and matte paintings
- Perform prep/paint tasks including wire removal, rig removal, clean plates, and background reconstruction
- Handle keying (green/blue screen), rotoscoping support, tracking, and matchmove integration
- Perform colour correction, grading, and final look development
- Create pre-comps and temp comps for workflow efficiency
- Ensure continuity and consistency across sequences
- Collaborate with supervisors, production, and team members during reviews and iterations
- Deliver shots on time and as per client specifications
- Take ownership of assigned shots and troubleshoot both technical and creative challenges independently
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in Nuke (mandatory) and working knowledge of Photoshop
- Keying (advanced green/blue screen extraction)
- Paint/cleanup workflows
- 2D tracking and compositing pipelines
Expertise In
- Light, color, shadows, perspective, and composition
- Ability to maintain shot continuity and visual consistency
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently without supervision
Minimum/Maximum/ Work Experience Required: Diploma or Degree in VFX, Animation, or related field, 4–6 years of experience working on international VFX projects
