About Us
Pet Smiles General Veterinary Dentistry is a privately-owned, startup practice opening in Gilbert in December, 2023. As a general dentistry-only veterinary clinic, we will provide a comprehensive range of routine dental services for dogs and cats only. We will not offer any wellness or sick pet veterinary care. Our client base consists of dental-compliant clients willing to participate in their pet's dental care.
We are looking for Veterinary Technicians with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in the veterinary field.

Position Overview
As a veterinary technician at Pet Smiles, you'll be a vital part of our team, contributing to our mission and success. Your primary responsibilities will include patient care and assisting the doctor during appointments. This role offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our patients while enjoying the benefits of a supportive and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-surgical patient preparation
- Anesthetic monitoring
- Taking dental radiographs
- Performing dental prophies
- Preliminary dental charting
- Assisting during oral surgery
- Patient recovery, care, and treatments
- Intake and discharge of surgical patients
- Filling prescriptions
- Client education
- Assisting the doctor during consultation and recheck appointments
- Discussing treatment plans with owners
Qualifications
To thrive in this role and in our wonderful workplace, you should possess the following qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in a veterinary practice
- An interest in pet dentistry
