Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled M.V.Sc (Surgery) professional to join our Secundrabad clinic. The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 2 years of hands-on clinical experience and will be responsible for delivering high-quality surgical and medical care while contributing to a collaborative, patient-first clinical culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions in companion animals
- Perform soft tissue, elective, and routine surgical procedures independently
- Assist in advanced and complex surgical cases
- Provide preventive healthcare including vaccinations, deworming, and wellness consultations
- Conduct and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests (hematology, biochemistry, imaging support)
- Develop customized treatment plans and maintain accurate medical records
- Manage OPD and support IPD cases including pre-operative and post-operative care
- Collaborate with fellow veterinarians and specialists for complex case management
- Educate pet parents on treatment protocols, surgical aftercare, nutrition, and preventive care
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, aseptic techniques, and hygiene standards
Qualifications & Experience
- M.V.Sc in Surgery (Mandatory)
- 6 months to 2 years of clinical experience in small animal practice
- Strong expertise in soft tissue surgery and peri-operative case management
- Proficiency in diagnostics and laboratory interpretation
- Experience in managing OPD/IPD cases independently
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-driven environment
