Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosis & Treatment:Examine animals, order tests, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans.
• Medical Procedures:Perform surgeries (spay/neuter, soft tissue), dress wounds, provide dental care, and administer medications/vaccinations.
• Preventative Care:Vaccinate animals, advise owners on proper diet, hygiene, and preventive health measures.
• Client Communication:Educate pet owners, farmers, or charities on animal health, address concerns, and offer support, including grief counseling.
• Record Keeping:Maintain accurate client and patient records and report diseases to public health officials.
• Equipment Use:Operate diagnostic tools like X-ray and ultrasound machines.
• Settings:Animal hospitals, private clinics, farms, zoos, research facilities, or government agencies.
