Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Veterinarian role based in Nuh. The Veterinarian will oversee animal health and welfare across the abattoir and processing operations, including pre- and post-slaughter inspections to ensure animals are fit for processing and that all procedures comply with relevant regulations and company standards. Daily responsibilities include monitoring biosecurity measures and maintaining accurate health and inspection records. The role also involves collaborating with production, quality assurance, and compliance teams to uphold food safety and hygiene standards, and participating in staff training on animal handling and welfare best practices.   • Recognized veterinary degree (BVSc or equivalent) and valid registration with Veterinary Council of India (VCI), preferably with experience in livestock or meat processing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of animal health, welfare, and husbandry practices, including disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for meat-producing livestock.
  • Understanding of abattoir operations, food safety, public health, and relevant national and international regulatory standards for meat processing and export.
  • Ability to conduct thorough clinical examinations, ante-mortem and post-mortem inspections, and maintain clear, accurate medical and compliance records.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to make sound decisions under time-sensitive operational conditions.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Nuh, with flexibility to support operational needs, and familiarity with safety, hygiene, and biosecurity practices in industrial settings.
  • Prior experience in large-scale abattoirs, meat processing plants, or export-oriented animal health roles is an advantage; knowledge of international meat export standards is beneficial.
