Job Description

Role Summary

Own the end-to-end delivery and scaling of the Banking & Financial Services (BFSI) vertical across India delivery. You will run a disciplined delivery operating system—program governance, margin protection, talent deployment, quality outcomes, and client satisfaction—while expanding scope within existing accounts and enabling new wins through strong solution-to-delivery handoffs. This role requires delivery leadership in security- and resilience-sensitive environments and the ability to build sub-vertical competency across Retail/Commercial Banking, Payments, Insurance, Capital Markets, and FinTech ecosystems.


Key Responsibilitie

s BFSI Vertical Build-out (Sub-vertical Capabilities, Offerings, and Competency

  • )Build and scale the BFSI vertical by establishing sub-vertical solution and delivery competency across Retail/Commercial Banking, Payments, Insurance, Capital Markets, and FinTech ecosystems
  • .Define vertical-specific capabilities (delivery playbooks, accelerators, security/compliance patterns, reference architectures, runbooks for run/ops)
  • .Create and operationalize solution offerings per sub-vertical (packaged scopes, outcomes, pricing guardrails), in partnership with practice leads (Data/AI, QE/Automation, Cloud/ITO, Product Engineering)
  • .Build competency depth through training, SMEs, reusable assets, and delivery governance standards, ensuring consistent outcomes across accounts

. Delivery Ownership (Portfolio / Programs / Managed Services

  • )Own delivery across BFSI accounts: delivery planning, execution governance, escalations, and client outcomes
  • .Drive a standardized delivery model across projects and managed services (run + enhance + optimize)
  • .Establish service governance: weekly ops reviews, monthly service reviews, and continual improvement plans (CIP)

. Rapid Expansion Across Existing Accounts (Land-and-Expand

  • )Build account-level expansion plans: whitespace mapping, stakeholder coverage, and quarterly conversion targets
  • .Convert expansions via workshops/POVs jointly with Practice Leads/Presales; ensure clean handoff into delivery

. Security, Compliance & Operational Resilienc

  • eEnsure delivery is security- and resilience-aware: access controls, change control, incident response coordination, and audit readiness aligned to client expectations
  • .For payments programs, ensure delivery processes and controls align to PCI DSS expectations for protecting payment account data (as applicable to the client environment)
  • .Strengthen third-party delivery discipline (vendor/partner oversight, due diligence inputs, documentation) aligned with BFSI third‑party risk expectations where relevant

. Financial Ownership (GM, Leakage Control, Productivity

  • )Own portfolio margin outcomes: GM realization, utilization, pyramid health, estimation variance control, and change-order discipline
  • .Implement leakage controls: scope boundaries, acceptance criteria, rate/mix governance, and proactive risk management

. Talent, Capacity & Delivery Governanc

  • eBuild and lead delivery leaders (program managers, delivery managers, engagement leads) and ensure deployable capacity aligned to BFSI demand
  • .Drive bench-to-billable conversion and capability depth aligned to vertical roadmap

. Cross-Functional Alignment (Sales / Presales / Practices

  • )Run a strong golden thread: solution → estimate → SoW → delivery handoff → value realization
  • .Partner with practice leaders to assemble squads and accelerators; ensure repeatable delivery patterns and reference harvesting
