Job Description

Responsibilities:

Design and develop data warehousing and BI solutions using Vertica and related technologies.
Develop ETL workflows including Informatica mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows based on business requirements.
Perform end-to-end ETL activities including coding, unit testing, deployment, and production support.
Write and optimize SQL, BTEQ, and VSQL scripts for data processing and transformation.
Load and manage bulk data from flat files into Vertica databases.
Perform performance tuning of ETL processes and resolve bottlenecks in data pipelines.
Design low-level technical solutions based on high-level architecture requirements.
Prepare deployment documents and support migration to QA, UAT, and production environments.
Work with testing teams to resolve defects and ensure smooth system integration.
Provide production support including 24/7 availability during warranty periods.
