Job Description

The Vendor Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring vendor-related schedules to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services. This role acts as a liaison between vendors and internal teams, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and optimizing scheduling efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling & Coordination

  • Develop and maintain vendor schedules for deliveries and services.
  • Coordinate with vendors to confirm timelines and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Update and track work orders and delivery schedules in the system.

Vendor Management

  • Communicate regularly with vendors to ensure adherence to agreed timelines.
  • Negotiate adjustments in schedules when necessary to meet operational needs.
  • Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues as needed.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records of vendor schedules, agreements, and changes.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and contractual terms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with procurement, operations, and finance teams to align schedules with business priorities.
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders on vendor-related timelines.

Requirement:

  • 2+ years of experience in vendor coordination or scheduling roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
