The Vendor Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring vendor-related schedules to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services. This role acts as a liaison between vendors and internal teams, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and optimizing scheduling efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling & Coordination
- Develop and maintain vendor schedules for deliveries and services.
- Coordinate with vendors to confirm timelines and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Update and track work orders and delivery schedules in the system.
Vendor Management
- Communicate regularly with vendors to ensure adherence to agreed timelines.
- Negotiate adjustments in schedules when necessary to meet operational needs.
- Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues as needed.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of vendor schedules, agreements, and changes.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and contractual terms.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with procurement, operations, and finance teams to align schedules with business priorities.
- Provide timely updates to stakeholders on vendor-related timelines.
Requirement:
- 2+ years of experience in vendor coordination or scheduling roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Excel.
